5 things you can relate to if you work on weekends

By on February 2, 2018

1. Weekend – What Does That Even Mean?
You have forgotten what a weekend means anymore. For you, week off is a more appropriate term. Even though it sucks, you have made your peace with it.

2. Planning Outings Is A Task
Since nobody is free on the days you are free, it’s tough to plan a day out with your friends and family. You spend so many days planning and plotting, but more often than not it turns out to be a flop show.

3. Empty Metro And Roads
Probably the only good thing about working on a weekend is empty metro and roads. On weekdays it takes you hours to reach your workplace, considering you have to wait for a metro that isn’t oozing humans; or you’re stuck in endless traffic jam. Travelling is actually easier on weekends.

4. You Don’t Get ‘Friyay’ Feels EVER!
For you, it’s more like Fri-whaaa… While people are busy posting TGIF on their Instagram, you just scroll down because who needs that kind of negativity in their lives, right?

5. Whine. Whine. Whine.

While working on a weekend, you and your colleagues whine, and whine and whine a little more, so much so, you need wine at the end of the day.
